A Heart of Worship

A Heart of Worship

We left Ziguinchor this morning at 7:30 just in time to arrive at Pastor N’gom’s church for worship service. Voices were raised in song, traditional drums and tamborines were played, and His Word was proclaimed. Joseph preached out of Luke 5:1-5. His challenge to the congregation was the same that Jesus gave to Peter…to go out into the deep waters. Not to stay up by the shore were Jesus was, but to step out in faith into the deep waters. Boy, did that hit home! How often do we want to stay in our comfort zones but God is calling us to step into the deep end! Another highlight of the service was taking communion w/the set that Tommy had sent. It was such a sweet time of worship!

After having a wonderful lunch that NeNe had prepared we went to Kounayan-Mancagne w/Mr. Badje. He opened the classrooms so that the Korean team could see all the work the students have done. I wish everyone of you could see their beautiful art work! dIt is so humbling to SEE the impact that our visit in Nov has made. We serve an awesome God !!

After that we had an evening of rest and reflecting on all the provision that HE has made for us. Again, we want to thank you all so much for your prayers! They make ALL the difference!

Hugs and Kisses to our families.
