A trip to the see the headmaster...

What a joy this trip was this evening! Jean Pierre is serious about his walk with the Lord and has been wanting help to know more. We presented the program to him. He was excited. I asked if there were another that would come with him, but he did not feel that the others had followed through on their commitment.

After looking at the cost involved of getting Tom and Pastor Ngom out to the villages, we determined that it was more economical if we provide the students with transportation funds each time they came to class. When they come they would receive their return fare as well as the amount they paid to come. It will require providing lunch but the cost for lunch plus a generous amount for travel will be less than one trip to one center. This way, Tom can teach all of them together. This reduces the amount needed for a translator. Pray that this plan will work. We may have to drive back to Sansamba to contact Bobo because we are not getting through.

We will approach Pastor Opa tomorrow morning about him and Tuttie making up the 4 necessary for the class. He has a motor bike so if he and Tuttie could come we would pay double thus providing them some extra.

I am feeling much more positive tonight than before. We have determined that if only Jean Pierre and Bobo will come and participate, then it will be worth it. Remember that Pastor Ngom is not only translating but is also learning

• Pray for our meeting with Pastor Opa tomorrow morning, 8 a.m. and that he will be willing to be trained.
• Pray for us to be able to contact Bobo and that she will be willing to meet in Sedhiou on Saturdays
• Pray that we will be able to wind up the details tomorrow so that Tom can move forward with his first class on Saturday.
• Pray for Jean Pierre, his family, school and teachers.

• A great meeting with Jean Pierre
• A great meeting with Bobo and the elders of Sansamba
• Missionaries that are willing to go beyond the call to help other servants of the Lord
• The opportunity to be a vital part of reaching a people group for Christ.
