Dear Calvary family,
Oh how I wish every single one of you could have experience what our team experienced tonight. Joseph Sylva is our Manjacku interpretor and he gave his testimony tonight. Words are too inadequate to describe how moving and inspirational it was. His father died 2 wks ago and he said he shared the gospel of Christ at the funeral....that is so HUGE. His family line is like the Levites or priesthood of the animistic beliefs. His father had confessed Jesus Christ as his Savior prior to death but his mother still has not. He went on to say that after meeting "Pastor Rick and his groups of people" he knew that we were a divine appointment to the Mandyaku people and that we weren't just like others who would come and go just one time. God continues to affirm our covenant commitment to be the engaging church for the Manjacku people group. He said we were direct answers to his prayers. We had such a sweet time of fellowship.
Please cont to pray as our team will be prayer walking Grand Yoff in the morning. Pray that lost souls will come to know Christ.
For His Kingdom,
Cindy
