The Trip Begins (04/17/07)

We have prayed much for God to send us a church to partner with us to reach the Mandyaku in the country of The Gambia. God has provided that church in Ridgecrest Baptist of St. Charles, MO. Please intercede for David, Kelly and Becky as they enter this wonderful world of missions with Jesus. We are prayer walking much while we are there. We are learning where the Mandyaku live and if there are already any believers among them. It is our desire that God will open a wide door of ministry bringing many to faith. I have finally found out that Jean Baptiste Mendy will be our interpreter for this journey. Please pray for him. I leave from Northwest Arkansas Wednesday morning around 9:51. We will land in Dakar between 11:00pm and Midnight Central Standard time the same day. It is a small world. God has invited us to be a part of it. Thank Him for this great privilege and opportunity. I will try the best I can to continue to place updates on this site as we have access to the internet. “Rejoice ever more, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
