Word from Africa

We were able to make contact with Jennifer and Jennie as well as Pastor Roger.   The girls are at the Retreat Hotel setting up for the evening conference that is about to begin.  Jennifer was having issues I believe with electronic involved. So she had Jennie call ... which was at the time I was talking with Pastor Roger. I found out that Jennie's suitcase did not make it to Dakar ... it seems that they did not put it and six other bags on the plane!   Pastor Roger said that they were not able to meet with the Governor today but hope that will be possible tomorrow.  They did get the opportunity to speak with Keivinjai (Spelling ??) and had a good witnessing setting with several men listening attentively.  They hope to have the opportunity to return tomorrow before they return to Zig.  If so, they will have ataya and discuss they things they shared today.    Pray for the opportunities to witness to the Governor and for the opportunity to have ataya with Keivinjai to discuss what they shared today.  Pray that both men will come to faith in Christ Jesus.   Later this evening they will visit with Jefferson and the team from Brazil that are working on his house.    Pastor Roger and David Johnson have had a great opportunity to discuss the progress that we have made and the things that the IMB has learned with Engaging churches.  Seems that our experience has paralleled theirs.  They are now encouraging Engaging Churches to be involved in Storying and with Discipleship Development that utilizes Storying.
