Thailand Missions Update

Today, our plans were redirected... The school hosted a ceremony put on by several different government agencies, including the Governess of Mae Hong Song (flew in by helicopter) and 2nd commander of Thailand's national police.  In the last year, the village has been hard hit by mud slides, and a few of the villages were actually relocated.  Many of the children now have to travel farther to and from school, so the government stepped in and gave bicycles to any children walking over three kilometers to school. Jim Reynolds, the local missionary here says that the government's welcoming us and actually including in the ceremony benefits his work and the VCSF here because it demonstrates the good intentions of these "English As Second Language" camps.

Tomorrow, we actually begin teaching the classes.  The classes are built on Bible stories, and all the prepared crafts support the Bible Stories in a way that also teaches English.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers!

We love you all, and we will post a new update tomorrow!
