In Dakar

Bro. Roger spoke to us by phone just before lunch. They have arrived in Dakar and are settled in the Guest House in Ouakam. They were enjoying the cooler temps and the sea breeze. They have learned a great deal on this trip and are eager to learn more tomorrow. They will have a meeting at 10 (5 our time). It will probably last over 2 hours. They will meet with Ibrahim, the leader of the Mandjak Association who led the team to Guinea Bissau. Also Joseph, who is looking at doing training in Ziginchour at the request of church leaders of the area, Jefferson, who is the technical advisor for the translation of the schripture into the Mandjak language, will be there. Hopefully, Chris and Marina Darby will be there as well. They are with SIL and are responsible for training trainers who teach the Mandjak how to read their language.

They will have a very full day on Thursday and a short night Thursday night. They leave for the airport at 4 a.m.  .... it is not as far as Springfield!

Please continue to pray for these meetings and the contacts made. Pray for good seats on the plane so they can get some rest on the 9 hour flight to New York.

Bro. Sam
