Pastor Roger talked with us by phone. They have arrived in Sedhiou. The trip was long but they are feeling good.  They were able to get into the house and then go to help distribute the Christmas Child boxes at a local school. They will try to take pictures to share with us.

 

He commented about his team mates. He said that Scott expressed that he had heard from missionaries, seen the pictures, etc. but until you experience it, you have no idea. He said that Jefferson is a safe driver but when you engage him in a conversation when he is driving, he slows down.  I think Pastor stopped asking him questions!  He said that Joseph has been great with them, sharing some good insights, and showing wisdom plus maturity.

 

After they finished the distribution, they were going to pay a visit to the Kellys and then have supper.

 

He asked us to pray for an open door in Kontoubou and Bouno. They want to share the gospel there again. Tomorrow evening, I believe that they will teach at Bamakounda.

 

The weather is hot and very dry.  The mango are coming in season, so being the kind person that he is, he promised to eat one for me!
