Tonight I was going through some pictures. It is overwhelming at times to see all that God has accomplished in the last five year. Calvary became an "Engaging Church" to the Mandyak people group in December of 2005. To our knowledge, there is only one Manjacku church in Senegal and it is located in Djilandighoto. Pastor Sam and I had the privilege of going there in January, 2007. At that time we were asked to prayer walk some land that they had be given in order to build a new church building. We prayer walked that land claiming Joshua 1:3...
"I will give you everyplace where you set your foot". Two years later they had a new church building that they built! They continue to persevere even though they face many challenges! We have had many opportunities to return and fellowship with these prescious believers. That are definitely an inspiration to all that come in contact with them!
Pastors Sam and Buddy will be teaching there Thursday from 9:30 til dark. Please pray that they will have divine insight as to the teaching that the church leadership is in need of. Pray that their message will be clear and that those listening will have ears to hear which will provide clear understanding. Please continue to pray for physical health and stamina for all the team members. Also pray for the interpreters as they translate from one language to another. Pray for their vehicle's safety as they travel into the bush.
When I spoke w/Pastor Sam earlier this afternoon they were without both water and electricity. Please pray that they will be able to have showers as needed and for coolness to sleep. Frevent prayer is the key...remember our opposition raises his ugly head when Kingdom advancement is at hand.
For His glory,
Cindy
