Hello from the Thailand Team. Sorry we have not posted to the Blog until now. We have had no Internet access until now.

We will try to bring up to date on our journey so far.

We visited the Karin Baptist Church yesterday with our young lady that we sponsor, Vannalee. This was quite an honor and a great experience. The message was brought to us in the Karin language, Thai language, and English language. Yesterday was also a celebration for Mother's Day in honor of the queen's birthday. All mothers were honored by the placing of a coursage (including the mother's on our team) - what a great privilege. To hear that God is the truth, the way, and the light in many languages and that they worship the same God - the one and only God - that we do - PRAISE THE LORD - PRAISE THE LORD - what a blessing!!!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!!! We have learned not to complain about the long sermons of Brother Roger, as we were there until 1:00 p.m.

Today was our first day of English Camp. All was started late but "NO PROBLEM" as it all fell in place. The team is learning the word flexibility really well, as all handled things in a great way, pleasing the Lord. Roger, Frances, and Leona (Team 1) shared their Bible story of "Jesus, My Good Shepherd", then into the Evangi Cube, and then into the "Jesus Film" (children's version). GOD IS GOOD - WE ARE SHOWING THE JESUS FILM - AN ANSWER TO PRAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The children were very attentive to the word, there was discussion among the children about the film, and a lot was presented.

Teaching Group 2 (Kara, Jonathan, Pam) taught a lesson about God's Promise, The Rainbow.
A new Thai English teacher wanted to interpret the story as Kara read the story to the students in 4-5-6 grade. He is very helpful and says he is a Christian.

Teaching Group 3 (John, Chris, Monica) shared the Creation Story. Jim (our "M") interpreted the story. The students in every grade seem to be attentive to what we had to share.

Marinda & Raegina are "floaters." Everyday we are with a different group.

In Leona's group there is an older mother who came to the school to learn the Thai Language (she speaks Karin -there is a difference between Thai & Karin) She dresses like the students and does everything they do. She is in the First Grade. She comes to the school and cleans just like the rest of the students. She is amazing. She has a very sweet spirit.

Pray as we go through the week-the team has to walk a fine line in how we present the gospel. Pray for our interpreter, Khun Oh, she has alot of responsibility. Pray for Jim because his family is still sick back in Chaing Mai.

We will post pictures at a later time. It is 9:30 p.m. here and we (Marinda and Leona) are wiped out and the Internet Cafe we are at is closing.

We love you all and continue to be in prayer for our team. We cannot make this journey without all of you. You are here with us!

Blessings from the Thailand Team.
