We had a wonderful time of worship with Pastor N’gor’s congregation this morning. What a joy it was to sing HIS praises with our African brothers and sisters. Pastor Roger’s message was about God using ordinary people to do His work. Isn’t that the truth?!
After worship we had a wonderful meal prepared by NeNe. Then, it was off to Bambacounda to prayer walk the school grounds. Mr. Mendy gave his testimony and we had a sweet time of prayer over the school and the children that attend. Some of the children came to the school as we were prayer walking. One of the little boys remembered one of our interpreters and also remembered singing “If You’re Happy and You Know It”. So, before we left, we sang this song with them. What a blessing! They in turn sang “My God You Are So Good”.
Russell, Bro. Sam and Pastor Roger got the opportunity to visit Chief Opa of Kountoubou. Yesuf is the son of Opa. Yusuf is the first Mandyaku who led the first vision team around Sedhiou. We are to return on Tuesday to meet with the entire Village of Kountoubou. Yusuf said “there are many” Mandyaku in the village. PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS MEETING.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” (John 4:23)
