We had an awesome day at the school with the children. The team experienced life without electricity, no fans, and high heat, but all faired very well.
So much to share and so little time. Hard to put into words the day that we had.
After teaching and dinner, we went to visit Vanalee, the young lady that Calvary is sponsoring in her next three years of education. This sponsorship is being done through the giving hearts of the body of Calvary from the funds remaining from the "FLEECE" Christmas project.
This young lady is not a Christian and neither is her family. She attends a worship service every morning at 7:00 a.m. and every evening at 7:00 p.m. This service is to thank God for everything they have. They also have Sunday school, youth group, and Sunday morning services. She must attend Bible Study and Church. She did not have a Bible. We were able to take her a Thai Bible along with a music card of "How Great is Our God" and a little extra funds for any personal needs. She cried and cried and cried and cried. We shared with how much we all love her and care for her and are praying for her. We were able to see her dorm area, classrooms, new church, old church, meet the new pastor and visit with the dorm mother. What an amazing lady. She has been there for 10 years and she has a heart for the children and is a great Christian witness.
We were asked to share with you how much of a difference that Calvary has made and to say, "THANK YOU" from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have to say good night for now. Please continue to pray for the team, open hearts, and that lifes will be touched.
