The long road to Dakar...

Well, today has been quite a day for the team. The first leg of the trip from the Casamance went well and they got through the Gambia in good shape. Just after re-entering Senegal north of the Gambia border one of the vans developed a serious engine problem. Of course it was the larger of the two.

They have been limping along with a truck in the convoy pulling the van. When they got to Moussa's home town they picked up a pull bar that allows them to move at a little faster pace. It is anticipated that we will get word when they arrive in Dakar.

This has been a looonnnnnggg day for them and I would imagine they are pretty worn out. I would ask you to pray that they may be in good spirits despite all of this and get solid rest upon the arrival at the guest house tonight.
