The team had a good day. The plan was to go to the Mandyak church that Opa started. However, Mussa checked. It seems that the road was almost impassable. They are working on it, I believe. But it made the trip unadvisable for today. They went to Mayu Kayan where the school children sang for them. They got to visit in the home of the person of peace (now a believer) where Tommy taught.
They went back to Bama Kunda and were taken to the village where the woman lived that had lost the child. They were received very warmly and joyfully in her home. They were so greatful for all that the medical team had done to help her child. Cindy received another chicken! She is getting to where she can handle live chickens with ease!!!
They believe the airport in Zigunchor is now open so pray that they will not have to take the tour to Cap Skiring which is an one and half hour dirt road experience. She will try to post a blog tomorrow when they get back to Ouacham (the other guest house) in Dakar.
Cindy sounded strong in voice. In the background I could hear Gwen, I think she is doing very well.
