Today was the first day of the English Camp 2008. What an amazing day He had for us. It truly was worth the long plane rides and little sleep. All went well. Jim, Leona, Frances and Molly had 1-2-3 grades (46 students); Kara, Marinda, Dave and Alan had 4-5-6 grades (36 students); and Jonathan, Amy, Trina and Mark had 7-8-9 grades (56 students) and Marinda taught kindergarten for one hour in the morning. She enjoyed every minute. These are very well behaved children and very very respectful. Words cannot describe the respect level of these children.

In Trina's group, the translator asked how many were Christians and six raised their hands. Trina was able to speak to two of the girls that raised their hands and they wanted to know if she was a Christian.

Please pray that six will grow to seven and seven to eight, etc. May the Lord allow us to keep planting these seeds and that they keep getting watered.

Also, please pray for Brother Dave Price, he has had a little problem with sinus and allergies. Other, than that for him, he is doing great.

Cindy - You would be so proud of Mark - he didn't wear "socks" today. Go Mark!!!! He also ate something green (we have no idea what), cooked in coconut milk, and he didn't throw up - but he didn't like it either.

As most of you know, there are two camps going on right now, our team as well as the team from Cassville. Please continue to be in prayer for both teams as we work out scheduling kinks and moving translators around. The most important part of these English Camps is being able to have a translator available when the Bible story is shared.

We love all of you and we have to sign off for now. Time running out.

In Christ,

Leona

Team, I am so proud of you...Mark, you never cease to amaze me! I am going to have you a new pair of sandals and a big bowl of veggies waiting for you when you get home.

Please know that I am in constant prayer for all of you! I am praying that every Bible story will plant seeds that grow to full fruition in the hearts of these children.

"Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes". Ezekiel 36:23

Your are instruments of sight this week! Love, Cindy
