Greetings to everyone. We have now completed day two of the English Camp. What an awesome day everyone has had. Yesterday, everyone was a little nervous but that was all gone by today.
As Trina says, "God is great and we are having a good time." Trina would like for me to share with everyone how it has touched her so much that the Christian songs that we are sharing with these children, that the kids are remembering and signing. What an awesome sound to our ears. Also, as the team from last year shared - the respect level of these children is undescribable.
Jim, Leona, Frances and Molly had grades 4-5-6; Marinda, Kara, Dave and Alan had 7-8-9; and Amy, Jonathan, Mark and Trina had 1-2-3.
Each day we are able to share the Bible story in English and in Thai with a translator. Today in the 4-5-6 grade class the story of Daniel and the Lion's Den was shared. The Holy Spirit was stong at work. Our translator shared how Daniel was protected by God from the lions, she shared how she had been protected by God during a robbery and that she and one other person had nothing stolen at that time, she shared how God protected the team as they made the journey of 33 hours to come to see them; that we came because we loved them, and more importantly that God loved us and them. During this time, it was apparent that the Holy Spirit was working in the team. Leona turned to Frances and said to her to get the Evangi Cube out and Frances already had it out. Kuhn Oh (the translator) saw this and was very excited and we were able to go through the Evangi Cube in English and then Kuhn Oh translated in Thai. This was amazing. We had two Christian children in the group. We also had a Muslim student that lives near the border. We are so excited to share the gospel with this Muslim child. The pictures are of the Evangi Cube being shared.
Brother Dave says, "Thumbs Up!!!!! - He will be back next year!!!!!! He has done a great job. He also wants to thank everyone for their prayers, his allergies are much better today.
Please continue to pray for this team. We definitely can't do this without you all!!!! We love you!!!!
Tomorrow we will be going into the village, if it is not raining. If there is anyone awake at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning - please pray as the team will possibly be going into their homes and may we be able to show the love of Christ.
In Christ,
Leona

Great is His faithfulness! I am so excited to hear what HE is doing!

Please know that I will be bowed at 4:00 am interceding w/the Father. Mark you have carry that night shift for me so often. How privileged I am to now be able to stand in the gap for you!

"For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel-not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the POWER OF GOD." 1 Cor 17-18.
    Praise God for evangecubes!!
    Love to all, Cindy
