Day in Sansamba

Calvary family,

Today was a sweet day….many new sights and experiences. God has granted much favor for us with the Prefecture o f Health and the medical director in Sansamba. We just have to meet w/one more person in Dakar and the official business has been taken care of. Yeah God!

Scott has discovered a new evangelistic tool…tootsie roll pops! Teehee….we decided instead of the evangel cards we need to make up one w/the different colors of tootsie roll pops to explain the plan of salvation! Hey in Africa…if it works, it's a plan!

We were disappointed today…Bobo wasn't home. We did get to visit w/her brother though. He was very happy to see us. He said he was still "seeking prayers…prayers in the name of Jesus" and wanted to know how Pastor Rick and Sam were.

God blessed me with a priceless moment today. While we were traveling back from Marsarrsuem we stopped along the side of the road and were interacting w/some women who were working in the rice field. Joseph explained to her that I was coming back in Jan to bring a medical team to Sansamba. All of a sudden this woman reaches up and starts kissing me!!! My first kiss in Africa!! They were so loving and grateful! It was priceless! I already know that God is going to do great things through that medical clinic.

Please be in much prayer for tomorrow. We go to visit w/Opa and his village. Pray that Scott will know the words to say to encourage Opa and his church.
