Entry by David Iannacone, 4/21/07

Brothers and Sisters:

We are in the Gambia. It was quite a trip. I think we drove off the road more than on it in some places! Everything went well.

Banjul seems like a nice place. It is not as crowded as Dakar so the condition of things is much less disheveled. The YMCA is a bit Spartan. The room is very small, the walls need a little paint and Rick and I are sharing a double bed. WooHoo! Can you spell planes, trains and automobiles?!

We are going to go to Sanyang tomorrow to meet up with the brother of Moses who is someone we visited in Dakar. His name is David and we hope that this contact will lead to many others.

It seems like Christianity is more prevalent in the areas we have seen so far. Since we are trying to link up with Christians and churches to help them, we might be in the right spot for that. If it is, it is another demonstration of God's providential work in this process.

Joseph is our interpreter and it is good that it turned out that way. It is good to be with him. He has a very godly spirit about him and is a joy to be with!

Pray for the continued health of the group

Pray that we find Manjaku Christians or a church or if God so chooses many people who He has already
opened their heart to the truth of the gospel so we can sow seed into fertile soil.

Pray that the vehicle we are driving does not break down and stays in one piece on these roads.
