The Day has been interesting. We got an early start, leaving the hotel at 7:30 stopping by John's cousin for coffee and prayer for her. We got to the airport and checked -in. While waiting for the flight, the hotel called and said we had forgotten an USB. It turned out to be Dave's. He and John left the airport at 8:55 and returned by 9:15 (then they had to borrow 1000CFA, pay the taxi driver and go through security). We boarded at 9:20. Someone must have been praying at 3 a.m.!!!
When we left for Zig from Dakar... John showed up with 30 seconds to spare. He got the last seat and a fellow was waiting to take it if he did not show up ... we actually got his boarding card as he got through the initial security.
Travel has been fun. Every flight we have made on Air Portugal they have been an hour late. Pray for David and I as we return because we have one hour between flights in Lisbon. We would appreciate someone praying about 8-9 p.m. and about mid-night to 1 a.m.
We will prayer walk Grand Yoff tomorrow morning, settle up with the business manager, the travel agent, visit the pharmacy in the pm. Shower and rest before leaving for the airport about midnight local time (6 p.m. Neosho).
We had a great 4 hour meeting with Lynn Harney this afternoon. He fleshed out a great deal for us and gave some fantastic insight into Manjaku culture. We have to write up the data so that it can be shared. What we have done will need to be added to and improved as we get further into our work. Prayer is going to be essential. We will be confronting a spiritual world that maybe difficult for many to comprehend.
Thanks for praying
Bro. Sam
