Spoke with Pastor Roger this morning our time. They were preparing to travel out to Bamakounda to meet with the young fellowship of believers and share with them. He shared that Emmanuel Mendy, the leader of this fellowship, is seen as a significant leader in this community by not only those within the village but also by leaders of the region. This was during the distribution of the Christmas Child boxes to the children of the village. The worship this morning went very well. Jefferson Cordiero preached. I am sure that Roger and Scott shared greetings as well. The team are doing well and actually got a little rest between the worship service and going out to Bamakounda. Pray for the sharing/teaching that they will be doing. They are seeking to answer questions about the faith, the scriptures, and how to grow as a believer. Tomorrow is also a long day. They will be going out to Dialangidhoto in the morning to teach and share. They will spend the day and then show the Jesus film in the evening at the small village of Touba. Pray that this will be a significant event in the community and that lives will be changed by making decisions for Christ. Bro. Sam |
