Praise and Continued Prayer...

To let all know, at last word the team made it safely to Springfield and dispursed with family members, but only after they ALL joined hands (family members too) in prayer at the airport. Spirits were high despite the long journey. How can human words express what we feel for our Lord in a time like this? To see his hand moving so mightily among us all. He is indescribable!

Please do not let up in praying for Sam, Tom and Robert as they begin the adventure of getting Tom established in Sedhiou. I pray that Tom may be richly annointed with wisdom in learning language and culture and that the hearts of the nationals would immediately recognize him as a person of peace, even as we did.

Pray for Tom's wife Diane and his daughters. Ladies, we thank you as well for allowing Tom to follow the call of God in his life. I know personally how much it means to a man when his wife supports him in responding to that call. He is blessed to have you all.

Thanks faithful prayer partners. Remember that we are still meeting at noon every day until Sam returns. Please do make the effort to attend men's and womens prayer meetings on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm. There are also a group of us that meet at the church at 6:00 am on Wednesdays to pray specifically for missional activity. We began that in the lead-up to the trip to Senegal in November 2006 and with all that God has on the horizon we need to be at prayer now more than ever before.
