Hello all,

Here we are in Senegal. The ladies had their orientation this morning and then went to meet some of the prime leadership team of the women’s retreat. They have said it has gone great! Terri is already doing hair without much sleep. Wow! What a sweet spirit. Christine is from Texas and all three pieces of her luggage failed to show up with us. She has some medicine in them she needs. Please pray they are there in the morning. Our ladies have been great to share what they have brought. Both Pam and Christine have fit in well with the team. This is a great team with a great deal of laughter. They are all having fun.

The guys did orientation and then went across the street to prayer walk. The first house had a Mandyak lady standing in the door way. It was a great contact. She gave the guy team their Mandyak names. She named Larry after her dad. She said he reminded her of him. He has passed away. She claims to be a follower of Jesus. As we continued we rounded a corner and Toni saw me and called me by my Mandyak name. It has been five3 months. God is at work. There was great communication. He too claims to be a follower of Jesus. We later found another family where the man had the same Mandyak name as Larry. We spent a good amount of time with them and are taking them a copy of the Bible in French.

We have discovered we have a copy of the J. film in Mandyak. But we need to find out how to play it. We need a Region 2 player. Please ask dad to provide one.

There have been many contacts today for an April trip to Gambia. Moses is still around and there is another pastor who is Mandyak in Dakar. Praise the Lord.

Well, I will go for now. We all need sleep badly tonight. Please pray for that. Thanks!
